Nominations for aboriginal partnership awards open

Nominations for the fourth annual Ontario Aboriginal Partnership Recognition Awards (OAPRA) are being accepted.

The awards established in 2000, in partnership with the National Aboriginal Achievement Award Foundation (NAAF) promote and recognizes successful Ontario-based business partnerships between aboriginal business, communities or organizations and non-aboriginal businesses, communities or organizations that have increased aboriginal employment, provided learning or training opportunities and demonstrated a commitment to the communities in which they operate.

Partnerships must be located in Ontario and be at least two years old.

Nomination forms are available on the NAAF website at www.naaf.ca. The deadline for nominations is September 8, 2003.
