Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN), a world leader in
Aboriginal broadcasting, is seeking applications from individuals
interested in serving on the APTN Board of Directors as Directorsat-
Large (11 positions to be filled).
As part of a 21 member board, directors are required at all times to act in the best
interest of APTN and must adhere to the APTN by-laws, policies and procedures,
and the Board of Directors Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a Canadian citizen
- Cannot be an employee of the network
- Must be willing to make a significant commitment in time
- Must be willing to travel
- Must have access to a computer or laptop with Internet access and email
If you meet these criteria your application must include the following elements::
- A letter stating the area or region where you reside and proof of residency in that region is required
- A resumé
- Letter(s) of Support (maximum of three) will be considered by the committee
- A declaration that you have never been convicted of an indictable offence
Preference will be given to persons of Aboriginal ancestry.
