If you have a product, service or information (research, teaching, and learning application, etc.) on video conferencing and would like to communicate it to people in Singapore, you will have an opportunity to do so during a public exhibition, September 21-25 1996, that will be organized in Singapore by the National University of Singapore. The exhibition has as its theme "The University of the 21st Century".
Video conferencing has been billed as the technology of the future. At the same time, we know it is gaining ground currently through the activities of sectors like yours. In Singapore too, video conferencing is advancing, mainly in the commercial world. Among the tertiary institutions, the National University of Singapore is one of the very few that is utilizing this technology on a regular basis. There is scope for great understanding and use of video conference technology through contact between interested parties.
We hope to provide up to 15 minutes for each contact slot during the exhibition hours for you to call into our system. Information about your session will be disseminated widely through the local media. If there is some specific group of persons you would like to speak to, we will seek them out for you.
If you would like to participate, contact Joe Peters at the University of Singapore by e-mail and we can discuss specifics.
