Jennica Harper was born in North Bay, Ontario and grew up in Brampton. She came to Vancouver in 1998 to earn her MFA in Creative Writing from UBC. In 2006, her first book of poetry, THE OCTOPUS AND OTHER POEMS, was published by Signature Editions; her second book of poems, WHAT IT FEELS LIKE FOR A GIRL, came out with Anvil Press in 2008.
Jennica also works as a screenwriter, story editor, and creative writing instructor in Vancouver, B.C.
