Ottawa, ON, February 26, 2009 – Change has come to the Canada Institute for Scientific and Technical Information's website (NRC-CISTI).
Our website continues to feature the same great information that you've always been able to find on it, but it's just organized differently, with different names. If you are looking for library-based information, such as our Catalogue and other library services, you'll find them under the heading of national science library which is a program area for NRC-CISTI.
This renewal of our website is required by the Common Look and Feel guidelines from Canada's Treasury Board Secretariat. Our website is now more accessible to all, as part of the redesign's objective was to make it easier for people with disabilities to access and to use our information.
Unfortunately, however, some links have been lost. The Web team has tried to keep those lost pages and links at a minimum. When possible, redirects have been put into place that will guide you back to NRC-CISTI's main page. You will need to update your links as many of the most used pages have been redesigned and renamed according to the prescribed guidelines.
If you have any questions or comments about the redesign, please contact Luc Provencher at Luc.Provencher@nrc-cnrc.gc.ca.
