Saint-Denys Garneau Exhibition
The National Library of Canada, in cooperation with the Salon du livre of Trois-Rivières, recently organized an exhibition entitled Saint-Denys Garneau. The exhibition brought together the poet’s documents, photos and poems taken from the Saint-Denys Garneau fonds held at the National Library of Canada.
The opening was held on Saturday, September 30, 2000, as part of the International Poetry Festival, at the Maison Hertel-de-la-Frenière in Old Trois-Rivières. Gaston Bellemare, founding president of the International Poetry Festival, and Céline Gendron, Coordinator, Canadian Literature Research Service of the National Library of Canada, opened the exhibition, which continued until October 15, 2000.
