The Forum Welcomes Charlotte Teeple

As of May 1, 2002, Charlotte Teeple (who until recently was the executive director of the Canadian Children’s Book Centre in Toronto) is the new coordinator of the International Forum on Canadian Children's Literature. It is with a great deal of enthusiasm that she has undertaken her duties within the team that is working on this important project related to the National Library of Canada’s 50th anniversary.

Besides coordinating the Forum Conference, which will be held from June 26 to 29, 2003, in Ottawa, Ms. Teeple will be strengthening partnerships with the cultural agencies that are organizing, within the Forum, a series of artistic and literary events for young people. Along with her other Forum duties, she will be setting up national events that will be taking place throughout the summer of 2003.
