The National Population Health Survey (NPHS) is a longitudinal household-based survey conducted every two years by Statistics Canada as part of its Health Statistics Program. Cycle 1 of the NPHS was conducted in 1994/95 and Cycle 2 in 1996/97.

This NPHS Highlights report is one of 11 reports on tobacco use based on the results of Cycle 2.
