The Laboratory biosafety course is a joint effort between the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), Centre for Emergency Preparedness (CEPR), Office of Laboratory Security (OLS), and the Canada Food Inspection Agency’s (CFIA) , Office of Biohazard Containment and Safety

The course is comprised of a series of modules, each module addressing a key topic in basic and intermediary levels of laboratory biosafety.
NOTE: The first five modules are now currently underway with another five yet to be developed.
Recommended for all microbiology laboratories in universities, hospitals, private industry and government departments who have a laboratory handling biological agents.
