Mobilization of the Research Community for Outbreak Response

The purpose of this funding opportunity is to contribute to Canadian preparedness for outbreak research and support Canada's pandemic and influenza research community. This funding opportunity aims to support individual or small teams of researchers in preparing for outbreak research by funding catalyst grants to start the planning and preparatory phase of research projects on focused research questions that will be essential for pandemic control during an outbreak and to gather data for analysis and to develop recommendation to prevent or mitigate future outbreaks.
