The purpose of this funding opportunity is to further strengthen Canadian research in preparation for a potential influenza pandemic by supporting applications that are determined to be relevant to the following three priority areas: effectiveness of targeted public health control measures; the role of children in influenza transmission and control; and fostering compliance with public health control measures.
