The FORO brings together librarians and information providers from Mexico, Canada, and the U.S. to work on mutual challenges. The theme of this year's conference is

“Coming Full Circle”

The FORO began in Arizona in 1991 and has since been held in Hermosillo, Sonora; El Paso, Texas; Monterrey, Nueva Leon; and Mexico City. Having the conference return to its origins gives us an excellent chance to reflect on what we have accomplished over the past five years, and to chart our course for the future.

Areas of Interest:

The progress of our working committees on Document Delivery, Professional Exchanges, Children's Librarianship, and Copyright and Customs.
The progress of our Discussion Groups on Academic, Public, School, and Special Libraries.
New technology and its impact on librarianship and learning.

VI FORO is your opportunity to:

Make new contacts and strengthen existing ties.
