CANADA'S GOVERNMENT FALLS Canadians will go to the polls in a general election on January 23rd. After weeks of delays and political wrangling, Prime Minister Paul Martin's minority Liberal government fell last night in the House of Commons. The Liberals failed to survive a vote of non-confidence brought toward by the three opposition parties.
