Join us to take a
just stand in support of the just struggles of the peoples of the
Middle East and North Africa. Look for the NO ATTACK ON LIBYA
delegation at the upcoming anti-war rally organized by the Hamilton
Coalition to Stop the War and many endorsers. At this rally, we are
denouncing Canada-led NATO forces for their unprincipled, illegal
military aggression against Libya and its people. We are calling for no
foreign interference in the internal affairs of the region’s countries
and that all attacks on Libya stop immediately. We are demanding an
anti-war government where instead of this aggression; Canada would
defend the right of all peoples to decide their own affairs by
upholding international law.
Also, bus rides
are available at 9:30 am on Saturday, April 9, at the Centre
Mall, Hamilton, to the anti-war and labour rallies in Toronto. Reserve
a seat (at no charge) by calling the Hamilton District Labour Council

Join Canadians Against Racism and Military
Aggression (CARMA) for an
Open Forum on Canadian foreign policy in the Middle East & North
Africa, with a focus on the Canadian-led military operations against
Libya. There will be brief presentations followed by open floor
discussion. Share your views, comments and concerns with fellow
Hamiltonians.
CARMA was established in
the wake of the 9/11 attacks and worked tirelessly to oppose Canadian
participation in the illegal U.S.-led wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
CARMA members have reconstituted the organization in response to the
recent military aggression against Libya which Canada is playing a lead
role in. The War of Terror continues and hence so do we. Join us!
