The bell cairn
that sits on the grounds of the current school in Broadview reads as follows:
This cairn is
erected in honor if the pioneers from many lands who settled in the Broadview
District. They founded the Broadview School District No.5 in 1885. The Bell,
here preserved, was removed from the third school built in the district.
This cairn was
erected by teachers and pupils of the Broadview School in co-operations with
Saskatchewan Department of Natural Resources.
