In 1885 the Broadview detachment
which consisted of two constables was established under the B- division.

In 1895-1896 there was only a
constable stationed there during the summer months.

During 1897-1902 there was no
detachment in Broadview.

During 1903-1904 there was only one
corporal stationed at Broadview for the winter.

In 1905 there was a permanent
detachment established again.

In 1917 the Saskatchewan Provincial
Police formed and resumed policing.

In 1917-1918 there was no member
stationed at the detachment, but from 1919-1932 the detachment remained open.

During 1939-1955 a detachment was
built.

In 1969 the
quarters were constructed and in 1970 the members moved in.
