W.D. Perley was an
influential man in the community of Wolseley because he was part of the
Legislature as well as a Senator. Mr. Perley and his family were
thought quite highly of in the community. They have a block named
after them. The road to Ellisboro is named after the Perley
family, thus it's called Perley Road.
