This site contains over 500 images from the South Saskatchewan Photo Museum. All images are property of the South Saskatchewan Photo Museum, and may not be reproduced or distributed without the express written consent of the South Saskatchewan Photo Museum.

The images contained in the site have been presented in both original and optimized format. The original format preserves the original appearance of the photograph as closely as possible; the optimized format will reveal greater contrast, sharpness, and brightness. The site defaults to the original image. The optimized image is accessible by clicking on "View Optimized Image" below the high-resolution images as they appear in the pop-up window.

The Synthescape team would like to extend its sincere gratitude to Adrian Paton, Curator of the South Saskatchewan Photo Museum, and acknowledge him for the extraordinary diligence and effort which he has invested in this project. We applaud him too, for his terrific achievement in conserving a vitally important aspect of the region's history and culture.

Thanks as well to Guy Parent, Christina Bing, and the entire team at Canada's Digital Collections.
