Aviva Heller has an Honours B.A. from the University of Toronto. She specialized in history as well as Spanish and communication theory. Before finding a position with the Ontario Jewish Archives, she worked with the Board of Jewish Education of Greater Toronto as an image researcher for the production of a Canadian Jewish history textbook entitled Telling Our Story: The History of the Jews in Canada. She is pursuing a career in the museum field and intends on becoming a curator for an historical museum after completing her master's degree in Museum Studies.
