CHAP. 6.

An Act to amend the Act providing for the organization of the Department of the Secretary of State of Canada.

[Assented to 8^th April, 1875.]

Her Majesty, by and with the advice of the Senate and house of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:-

1. The following words are hereby added to, and shall form part of the fourth section of the said Act, passed in the thirty-first year of Her Majesty's reign, chapter forty-two, that is to say:-

"And the Deputy Registrar-General of Canada from time

"to time appointed under the second section of this Act, may

"sign and certify the registration of all instruments and do-

"cuments required to be registered, and all such copied of

"the same, or of any records in the custody of the Registrar

"General as may be required to be certified or authenti-

"cated as being copies of any instruments or documents as

"aforesaid."
