Below are some Groswater
Paleoeskimo tools

Groswater side-notched endblades are used on the end of harpoon heads for hunting animals. At Phillip's Garden West, Dr. Renouf found several beautifully crafted harpoon endblades. They are small and considerably finer versions of the typical Groswater endblade, and have tiny and uniformly spaced edge serrations, and a ground facet on one surface. They are distinctive to Newfoundland, with some similar ones having been found in Cow Head and in Bonavista Bay.

Bifacial Knives usually have notches for hafting onto wood or bone handles for use as knives.

Sideblades are slotted into the side of a harpoon head.

Burin-like Tools are used for gouging, grooving and incising bone, and for carving. These tools would have had side-notches for hafting unto handles.
