The full board of the healing strategy will consist of 17 individuals. Directors will establish overall policies and directions for the Foundations' programs and serve for the two-year term. |

The additional Directors are to be Aboriginal people chosen through a broad-based canvassing of eligible and interested candidates from among representative groups, residential school victims' organizations and other interested groups. |
