		The territory is known as the James Bay territory of Quebec. The territory communities are Whapmagoostui, Chisasibi, Wemindji, Eastmain, Waskaganish, Nemaska, Mistissini, Oujč-Bougoumou and Waswanipi.
		Their language is Eeyou Eyimouwin and they practise common traditions and customs.
