		In 1985, Mohawk conductor and composer John Kim Bell created the National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation (formerly known as the Canadian Native Arts Foundation).
		A nationally registered charitable organization, its mandate reflects the changing needs of Aboriginal students and communities by providing the financial assistance for those wanting to pursue educational opportunities in the arts and cultural industries.
