Known everywhere as a T-bird, Canadair's CL-30 with the Rolls Royce Nene engine was designated the Silver Star 3. It was designed to handle all basic jet-training chores and was still in service in the mid-90s.

In May of 1964, the "Red Knight" soloist plane from the Canadian aerobatic team was donated to the National Aviation Museum.
