About this Site

This site was produced by four Secondary School Students under contract with Industry Canada for the Digital Collections project during the summer and early fall of 2000.

  Name: Peter C. Zachar
Role: Team Leader, Site Design, Digitization, Interview Documentation
Age: 17
Info:
I got into webpage design thanks to the Virtual Ventures summer camp, however I regard computers merely as a means of passing the time. I am currently in grade 12 and hope to continue on to study medicine. I used to swim competitively for the Ottawa Y Olympian's swim club, and I am curretly managing their webpage. I have also worked on various other sites including Q3Center, StarlancerCenter and am currently starting work on RoleplayHaven with Norm. In my time off, I enjoy biking, skiing and playing tennis.

  Name: Norman R. Fong
Role: Team Member, Site Design, Interview Documentation
Age: 16
Info:
I've always had an affinity towards technology and computer design. I took up this project as a chance to gain valuable experience, both practical and interpersonal. My other interests include: sports, world issues, entertainment, business and modern music. I also enjoy the study of classical music theory, harmony and history. My future aspirations are to study computer engineering at university.

  Name: Timothy A. Ziebell
Role: Team Member, Digitization
Age: 17
Info:
Some of my interests include: computers, the cosmos, architecture and engineering. I have had quite a bit of computer experience throughout my life as I started when I was very young with the good old Commodore 64. During that time I have worked on a few websites such as Q3Center and StarLancer Center. All of it led up to working at Nortel Networks: Canada’s largest corporation. Some of my hobbies include: video games, software writing and weightlifting. (Have to stay fit with all this static activity don’t you?) My plans for the future are to get a University degree in Computer Engineering with perhaps a Business relation to it.
