Also the mittens were made only from certain parts of a skin. Maybe because we didn't have large supply of skins, they would be made only from certain parts. We didn't have many spare skins. All the leftover skins were saved. We paired both sides and tied or stitched them together and save and sometimes when they would become large amount we called them KAKIJAIT. We saved them for repairing socks or anthing that is wearing out. They were always handy.
