There are approximately 210,000 CAW members (this includes approximately 195,000 dues paying members and 15,000 laid off members pdmahiy in the fisheries) organized into 375 locals and over 1100 bargaining units.
Almost 40,000 of our members are skilled trades and just under 5,000 work in offices (aside from airline workers).
There are almost 45,000 women in the CAW, more than one in every five of our members.
There is $45.9 million in the stoke fund (March 1996).
