LOUIS-PHILIPPE LAURENDEAU (1861-1916) was a Montreal bandmaster at the École militaire St.-Jean. He was also on the editorial board of Carl Fischer publishing of New York. Laurendeau wrote over 200 compositions, mostly band works, as well as several volumes of band instruction.
