Joseph-Julien Perrault



JOSEPH-JULIEN PERRAULT (1826-1866) was a Montreal composer and choirmaster. After studying for the priesthood in Paris, he returned to Montreal to teach at the Collège de Montréal, where he was also choirmaster. From 1859-1866 he was choirmaster at the parish of Notre-Dame, where he presented several masses. He composed primarily liturgical works, including masses, motets, psalms and choruses.
