Lysander Falls
Les chutes Lysander

The Lysander Falls were named after General Lysander Flag who contributed to the erection of three mills on the site: a flour mill, a carding mill and a sawmill.

The south shore of the River Bécancour (formerly Thames River) is now a municipal park with picnic tables and impressive views of the falls. On the north shore lies the famous Chicken Coop.
