Celtic Music and Culture - "A Judique Perspective"
Fiddler

Turn on your speakers and listen to some great tunes.

Since the early 1990's there has been a dramatic gain in the popularity of musicians who consider traditional Cape Breton music to be their foundation . This popularity has been measured through sold out international performances by our musicians, as well as gold and platinum record sales.

This site explores the Celtic culture on which the survival of the traditional Cape Breton music depends. There is information on Judique, Cape Breton which several of our popular musicians consider home. The site also contains biographies and sound samples from some of our popular musicians and resource information for students. Check out the links to other Celtic sites and tourist information.

This site is not an exhaustive study of Celtic history or traditions. Rather it is an introduction to the Celtic tradition and history of the local area. A wealth of Celtic information can be obtained through orga nizations such as St. Francis Xavier University - Celtic Studies Department.

 Enjoy! Ciad Mile Failte!
