		Colonial Settlers : J.J. Sperry
The Land Colonial Settlers Community of Villages Pre-emptions Agriculture Timelines Image Gallery		Jacob Jesperson Sperry (1827-1905) arrived in Chilliwack in 1868. He was one of the old timers in British Columbia and had driven a team on the Cariboo Road in the early 1870s. He met Isaac Kipp in the gold rush days and lived with the Kipps for many years. He died of 'dropsy' at the residence of E.A.Kipp.
