Barron, Collin Fraser Victoria Cross Recipient

Barron, Collin Fraser (1893-1958). Born in Baldavie, Renfrewshire, Scotland, Corporal Barron served with the 3rd Battalion, Canadian Expeditionary Force. At Passchendaele on November 6, 1917, Barron single-handedly hurled several bombs into a German Machine gun nest, charged the post, killed four of the crew and captured the remainder.
