trans1.GIF (3545 bytes)_
The geese were originally used as hunting decoys in 1950's.
Today, they are used as a household decoration and have a very distinguishable fragrance. Geese are made using the following process: 1) A ball of tamarack twigs are wrapped to a diameter of 2"-20" (is to be used as the body); 2) Select the length of the branches (5"-20"); 3) Lay out the branches of tamarack under the ball; 4) When there are enough branches, tie them up with a nylon string; 5)Branches from the same tree would be applied as legs.
Buyers must beware of geese with the body constructed of newspaper or wool string as it tends to collapse over time.

Price is 100% dependent on size and price structures are fairly standard.
If the string or tying fabric is visible the product should be less costly.
Those with wool should be less expensive if purchased at all.
Those with a nylon body should be less expensive if purchased at all.
