Biography:
Born in December,
1958 on the Sandy Lake reserve in North-Western Ontario.
His last name -Kakekagumick-
means "Everlasting Earth".
He started painting
with acrylics in the summer of 1979. Inspired by the works of Carl Ray
who
was from the same
reserve, he started painting legends and stories of his Oji-Cree culture.

has had shows in Vancouver, Calgary, Thunder Bay, Toronto and Ottawa.
He has private collections
in Brazil, Switzerland, England, Germany and France.
He now resides in
Ottawa.
