Orphan girl is left behind by adopting tribe
in harsh cold winter months when tribe moves to new camp. When she is about
to give up hope of being rescued, she is approached by a bird with a white
head and offers to help her if she would help the bird in return. She agrees.
At that moment the bird grows in size, the girl jumps on its back and both
fly off to catch up with the tribe. When the tribe sees she has a guardian
spirit they accept her back into the tribe and respect her. To the end
of her days, the orphan girl would go into the forest everyday to feed
the bird.
