Tools: These are a
collection of tools that any blacksmith would have required. There are hammers used to
shape the metal without heat. There are also chisels and cleavers, two similar tools used
to cut. Every blacksmith would have used punches and hand drills. These would have been
used to make different types of holes. They needed to have soldering irons, to unite two
pieces of metal without heating the whole metal, and files to smooth the edges. Of course,
no blacksmith's arsenal would be complete without many different types of simple tongs to
hold the hot metal as they worked. Using all of these tools in unison a blacksmith could
make almost anything. |
