Refrigerator:

This refrigerator does not look like the fridges that are in all of our houses today. It would have been great to have one of these when the rest of their town was still using ice boxes to keep their food fresh. Something like this would have been very beneficial to have, especially in the summer when keeping food nice and cold would have been even more difficult. Also, notice some of the appliances that are surrounding the fridge, for example an electric mixer; one of the first ones around. For a family to have such a thing as that back then, they must have been doing very well for themselves!
