Luxury Hearse:

This hearse was used by F.H. Tanner & Sons the Funeral Directors who worked out of Vars. It is quite similar to the sleigh hearse. It was not used during the winter and was only used for the wealthy or upper class. It has glass windows and drapes which were very expensive. It does not really resemble a hearse that we would still see today, however it still would have carried the person to their final resting place efficiently and in this case, in style!
