Mr. Patterson graduated in Civil Engineering at the University of Toronto and then studied Architecture at the University of British Columbia. His experience in the heritage conservation field began in the practice of Peter Cotton, Architect, where a number of rehabilitation schemes for old buildings were undertaken. In 1976 he carried out the recording and production of "As Found" drawings for Craigflower Schoolhouse, Victoria, as a commission of the Provincial Government. Mr. Patterson continues to be actively involved in Architectural and conservation practice.
