City Bakery: Various owners that could have included Mrs. Underhill or Mrs. Dilse
Doyle's Warehouse: Alfred Doyle
Doctor Watt's House: Dr. Watt
Johnson's Blacksmith: Mr. Johnson

B.C. Heritage Branch owns the Fort Steele Historic Site

USE OF THE BUILDING

  PAST:

City Bakery: sold baked goods to the community, utilized as a candy and fruit shop, and laundry services were also once provided at this building
Doyle's Warehouse: storage facility
Doctor Watt's House: home for Dr. Watt while living in Ft. Steele
Johnson's Blacksmith: fixed, sharpened, and made tools and products for use in mining and transportation

  PRESENT:

City Bakery: sells delicious baked goods to members of the public
Doyle's Warehouse: example of how and why architectural buildings are restored
Doctor Watt's House: shows the doctor's house
Johnson's Blacksmith: scheduled for restoration in the near future depending on the availability of funds
