House built, 1885
Barns built, 1890's and 1930's.

ARCHITECT:
The architect is not known.

CONTRACTOR:
Old Barn: Dan Craig, master carpenter. He was paid a dollar a day plus room and board.
New Barn: Mr. Rowlatt

OWNER OF THE BUILDING
  PAST: Alexander Joseph Annand
Sold to Mr. Rowlatt and he built the big barn.
  PRESENT: Greater Vancouver Regional District

USE OF THE BUILDING
The barns are part of a group of buildings that make up the Annand/Rowlatt pioneer farmstead.
  PAST: Pioneer farm barn.
  PRESENT: Heritage site. Designated May 25, 1981. The old barn has been entirely restored. Events are sometimes held in the barn, such as Christmas parties.
The big barn is currently closed and held up by guy ropes because it is in disrepair and very fragile. The community would like to preserve the building, but it is not known when they will undertake the restoration project.
