The placement of the installation is in an internal open-air courtyard which the architects, John and Patricia Patkau, have embraced within their design for the Gallery building. In years to come, living creepers will climb the wooden frames to reach the sky.
For the present, my budded sculptures signify a beginning, a hope for the future and a signifier for regeneration in a fragile world.
