Lloyd was approached by the City of Saskatoon and contracted to develop the Wanuskewin Heritage Park securing $6 million from the Federal Government in the process. Once Wanuskewin Heritage Park site was established Lloyd returned home to act as Education Coordinator for the Chief Gabriel Cote School. Lloyd eventually went on to become the Assistant Tribal Chief Representative for eight years for the Yorkton Tribal Council. His highlight as Assistant Tribal Chief for YTC was addressing the United Nations on the Treaty Four Document in Geneva, Switzerland. Lloyd is presently the Coordinator of the Treaty Governance Processes with the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations continuing his fight in upholding treaty rights. Links: Are the R.C.M.P.
