Description
The Western and Northern Youth Parliament will bring 60 young parliamentarians to Edmonton on November 8 to 11, 2002. Francophonie jeunesse de l'Alberta is proud to be hosting this important event. Several prominent figures from government and business, at both the provincial and national level, will be invited to attend. The goal of the program is to provide an opportunity to young people to learn about the parliamentary system and about politics in general. We also want to inform the youths of the issues facing Canadians today. This program encourage public speaking and learning about their active role in determining the future of Canada.
