Peace River

Peace River Canyon

Found at this site are over 400 tracks from a variety of creatures at this site ranging in time from the late Jurassic to the upper Cretaceous. Also found at Peace River were mammoth tusks and bison skeletons dating from the Pleistocene Epoch.

W.A.C. Bennett Dam

During the dam's construction, fossils and a Pleistocene mammoth tusk were unearthed. Many different species of reptiles have also been found in the area from the Cretaceous period.
