Don Reid

Don Reid has spent years walking along the fossil cliffs of Joggins. He has become a local expert and entrepreneur. From an early age he has searched the beaches around the Joggins area, exploring and finding many things that have never been seen before. Perhaps his most notable find is an impression of a large flying insect from the Carboniferous age, 300 MYA. He is also known as "Keeper of the Cliffs".

Brian Hebert

At an early age, Brian started walking along the Fossil Cliffs, hardly missing one day. He has been collecting fossils since he was 16, and he has collected many scientifically important fossils in that short time span. Brian has collaborated with palaeontologists from around the world, who were impressed with him. Brian is known for his sharp eye. Let us now take a closer look at some of his discoveries in Brian's Private Collection.
