Allan Gardens Conservatory

Features six greenhouses comprising over 16,000 square feet of colourful seasonal plants which supplement the permanent plant collection. Of botanical importance since 1858 the conservatory boasts the "Palm House" (1910) modeled after similar structures in the United States and England.

Home to one of Canada's finest public gardening education facilities. The Library has over 8,000 books, the Horticultural Information Service offers free gardening information year round and the Trellis Shop has many unique gifts, books and gardening supplies for sale.

Botanical and horticultural treasures abound the Toronto Zoo. Exhibits are geographically themed on tropical and temperate ecosystems, complete with butterflies, signing birds and playful primates!
