Portable Organ This portable reed organ featured a three-octave keyboard and a weight of a mere 32 lbs. Powered by two foot pedals, this collapsible instrument was used as accompaniment for hymns during services, at weddings or as entertainment to draw crowds at impromptu gatherings. This organ resides at the Vancouver Maritime Museum and was donated by Mrs. Alan Greene, wife of the Columbia Coast Mission priest. Take Me Back!
